Advertising Terms Definitions

"Ad(s)" means any advertisement or other commercial or sponsored activity or content provided by Advertiser to be served by Wee Amici via the platform’s Ad Service (as defined below).

"Ad Content" means Ads, related technology, and other content that Advertiser provides in connection with the Ad Service.

"Ad Data Terms" means the Wee Amici Advertising Data Terms found at https//www.weeamici.com/help-center#advertising-data-terms.

"Ad Policies" means any and all policies related to the Ad Service made available to Advertiser, including, but not limited to, the Wee Amici Community Guidelines (as defined below), Wee Amici Advertising Policies (as defined below), and Wee Amici Ad Specs (as defined below).

"Ad Service" means Wee Amici’s advertising products and services, whether managed or self-serviced, and any associated tools for creation, submission, delivery, measurement, analytics, and related activities associated with any advertising or other commercial or sponsored activity or content.

"Ad Service Properties" means Wee Amici Properties (as defined below) and any third-party product or property made available in connection with the Ad Service.

"Ad Terms" means the Wee Amici Advertising Terms of Service found at https://www.weeamici.com/help-center#advertising-terms-of-service


"Advertiser Properties" means applications, content, and properties to which the Ad Content directs or redirects any user, including any services and products referenced in the Ad Content or on Advertiser’s websites, mobile apps, physical stores, or any other physical or digital medium controlled by Advertiser.

"Affiliate" means any entity that, directly or indirectly through one or more intermediaries, controls, or is controlled by, or is under common control with a party or any direct or indirect parent company of a party. 

"Agency" refers to any advertising agency or other agent authorized by Advertiser to act on the Advertiser’s behalf.

"Applicable Data Protection Laws" means all applicable data protection laws, statutes, ordinances, rules, regulations, including, without limitation, U.S. State Privacy Laws (defined below).

"Applicable Laws" means all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, rules, regulations and industry rules including, without limitation, state, provincial or country: (i) privacy laws such as, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA"), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA"), and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (where applicable); (ii) Applicable Data Protection Laws; and (iii) laws applicable to Ad Content.

"Change of Control" means the sale of all or substantially all of the assets of a party; any merger, consolidation or acquisition of a party with, by or into another corporation, entity or person; or a change in the ownership of more than fifty percent (50%) of the voting capital stock of a party in one or more related transactions.

"De-identified" or "De-identified Data" refers to data that, in accordance with any requirements for de-identification under Applicable Data Protection Laws, no longer allow the natural person concerned to be directly or indirectly identified.

"End User" means any individual who uses or interacts with Advertiser through Advertiser Properties.

"Interaction Data" means information that Advertiser shares with Wee Amici about End Users in connection with Advertiser’s use of the Wee Amici Pixel, including, without limitation, information concerning End Users’ internet-connected devices, and actions End Users take on Advertiser Properties, such as visits to Advertiser websites, installations of Advertiser apps, purchases of Advertiser products or services, or other conversion events. Interaction data may include, but are not limited to, advertising IDs, IP addresses, pages viewed, device ID and other device information (including HTTP header information such as user agent, country, language and information about the web browser or app used), or other data received via the Wee Amici Pixel or other pixels or code on Advertiser Properties.

"Wee Amici Ad Specs" means Wee Amici’s ad creative specifications found at https://www.weeamici.com/help-center#ad-specs.

"Wee Amici Advertising Policies" means the Wee Amici’s advertising policies and guidelines found at https://www.weeamici.com/help-center#ads-policy.

"Wee Amici Community Guidelines" means Wee Amici’s community guidelines found at https://www.weeamici.com/guidelines/forums.

"Wee Amici Pixel" means the HTML tag, pixel, or other code or other technology (and related documentation), and other materials or tools provided to Advertiser by Wee Amici that enables Advertiser to send certain Interaction Data to Wee Amici (e.g., information about conversion events that occur on Advertiser Properties after an End User has viewed or interacted with Ads on Wee Amici Properties (as defined below)).

"Wee Amici Properties" means websites and mobile platforms that are owned, operated, or controlled by Wee Amici.

"Optimization" means improving advertising on Wee Amici by training Wee Amici’s advertising delivery models, learning about the relevance of Ads shown to Wee Amici users, and customization of Ad Content that Wee Amici shows to Wee Amici users.

"Personal Data" and "Personal Information" means personal data, personal information, or other similar terms as defined by Applicable Data Protection Laws, or information that otherwise relates to an identified or reasonably identifiable natural person.

"Privacy Policy" means Wee Amici’s Privacy Policy found at https://www.weeamici.com/privacy-policy.

"Prohibited Data" means "special categories" of Personal Information subject to increased protections under Applicable Data Protection Laws, including, without limitation and as applicable, social security numbers or other government-issued identification numbers, protected health information subject to HIPAA or other information regarding an individual's medical history, mental or physical condition, or medical treatment or diagnosis by a healthcare professional; biometric information; access credentials to online accounts or financial accounts; tax return data; credit reports or consumer reports; Personal Information subject to GLBA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, or the regulations promulgated under either such law; and Personal Information relating to children subject to restrictions under Applicable Data Protection Laws, including, without limitation, all information about children under thirteen (13) years of age.

"Supplemental Terms and Policies" means the Ad Policies and all other terms and guidelines governing Advertiser's use of the Ad Service and/or Wee Amici Pixel, including, but not limited to, the Ad Terms, Ad Data Terms, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable product-specific terms.

"U.S. State Privacy Laws" means the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA" or "California Act"); the Colorado Privacy Act ("Colorado Act"); the Connecticut Act Concerning Personal Data Privacy and Online Monitoring ("Connecticut Act"); the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act ("Delaware Act"); the Indiana Consumer Data Act (as of January 1, 2026) ("Indiana Act"); the Iowa Act Relating to Consumer Data Protection ("Iowa Act"); the Kentucky Data Protection Act (as of January 1, 2026) ("Kentucky Act"); the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act (as of October 1, 2025) ("Maryland Act"); the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act ("Minnesota Act"); the Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act ("Montana Act"); the Nebraska Data Privacy Act ("Nebraska Act"); the New Hampshire Data Privacy Act ("New Hampshire Act"); the New Jersey Data Privacy Act ("New Jersey Act"); the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act ("Oregon Act"); the Rhode Island Data Transparency and Privacy Protection Act ("Rhode Island Act"); the Tennessee Information Protection Act ("Tennessee Act"); the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act ("Texas Act"); the Utah Consumer Privacy Act ("Utah Act"); and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act ("Virginia Act").
